As a young boy, I was able to convince my parents that by using my paper route earnings, I would be able to care for my first dog, Kerry. After a short career in the business world, I returned to my first love, animals, and discovered that I had a natural ability to know what was wrong with a patient—and that I was meant to be a veterinarian. Many pets later, I now enjoy nurturing and sustaining the human–animal bond and am adept with cancer, reconstructive and soft tissue, along with dental procedures and medical cases.
Originally from Montclair, New Jersey, I have been Medical Director at Park Vet since 1985. I received my DVM from NC State. With my wife, Chris, an oncology nurse, I enjoy traveling and meeting new people and animals. We are the proud parents of three wonderful children and have a cute terrier named Pancho.
